M - T

Well, almost empty - our house that is . . .
We are in the process of moving and making all the connections and disconnections required. We're surrounded by boxes and disorder - which will all soon be moved to Tennessee. I expect to be living amid boxes and disorder for quite some time now!!

I'll check in again when I can - in the meantime, you may want to check on my files at Cutter's Market.

It's All About Love

Thought I'd share a couple cards I threw together this week.
The first is for my parents' anniversary. They will celebrate 49 years this Valentine's day.
The second is for our daughter.

Both cards use the same background papers, but with the inking and accents they have a totally different feel.
Both are kind of basic since I've got most of my crafting supplies packed away in boxes. I can't wait to get everything out, together and within reach once again!

Have fun with this title - I think it could be used for many different occasions - from Valentine's Day to anniversary to baby shower.
Now available for purchase at Cutters Market.

Woman claims “God spoke through my radio”

How’s that for a National Enquirer type headline?
We’ve had a few rocky days recently regarding our move and job change – doubts and insecurities were starting to worm their way into our thoughts. So we were asking “God, are we heading in the right direction?” “Are You leading or are we relying on our own understanding?”

Here’s the reassurance He provided . . .
The clock radio went off at its usual time and our favorite Christian Radio station WBCL was coming in loud and clear. The first song I was conscious of was one reassuring us that everything is under God’s control. The next song also calmed my thoughts and provided reassurance that no matter what was going on God was with us. Then the DJ broke in and gave the song artist and mentioned a project the group was a part of in Nashville. – Okay – now I’m really paying attention.

The next song is telling us -
“Hold on – it will not be long till it’s all over,
and you may not see it
and you may not feel it
but I’m holding you tightly and your spirit is near me so hold on”*

Next song -
“Cause it's only the world I’m living in
It's only today I’ve been given
There ain't no way I’m giving in
Cause it's only the world
I know the best is still yet to come
Cause even when my days in the world are done
There's gonna be so much more than only the world for me”**

This was enough encouragement for me to jump out of bed and get ready for my day!

Then as I emerged from the shower I heard -
“Gone, gone, gone, gone, gone
Now I've got Jesus and that's a fact
I'm on track and never looking back
I'm gone, gone, gone, gone, gone
Gonna let the past be history
Not gonna let it get the best of me
I'm out the door
What are you looking for?
I'm gone”***

Adequately reassured and on my way to work, God had yet another message for me.

I hear what I consider “our” song (mine and His, that is) Today is the Day by Lincoln Brewster -
“Today is the day You have made
I will rejoice and be glad in it
And I won`t worry about tomorrow
I`m giving you my fears and sorrows
Where you lead me I will follow
I’m trusting in what you say – Today is the Day!”

So there you have it, it’s me – the woman who claims God spoke through her radio!!

Does God have a message for you today?
I believe he does!
Care to share?

Who knows how He'll get a hold of us
Get our attention to prove He is enough
He'll do and He'll use
Whatever He wants to
To tell us "I love you"
