Texture Tuesday - Fun with Roses

 This week's texture challenge was a free for all - just use one of Kim's textures.

It's not often I receive flowers but a couple years ago I was surprised by these on my birthday.

Aren't they the most beautiful color??

(very photo worthy!!)

After playing around a bit -

 blurring the background,

 removing some color

and adding Kim's Ugg Love texture . . .

Some dreamy faded roses!

These transformations always amaze me!

But I also find them somewhat disturbing.

How can we trust that the things we

see on a screen or in print

in this computer savvy,

cut and paste,

digitally enhanced world

is

 what it

appears to be??
