Hope everyone was/is able to enjoy time with the family throughout the holidays.

We enjoyed a Christmas celebration here with DD#1, her hubby & DD#2. Then we all travelled North for more merriment with our extended families.

We discovered that we haven't been out of the snowbelt long enough to truly appreciate returning to a white Christmas.

On our trip back to Tennessee the whole length of Indiana bid us goodby with a snowy, wet, slippery, slushy drive (6 hours worth!) Needless to say, it was good to make it back here safe and sound.

The drive to Indiana was pleasant enough - even had some sunshine to start us on our way.

But . . .

Heading back South was a bit messy!

One of the joys of winter, I guess.

Merry Christmas!

Thought I'd give you a peek at some of the projects I've been working on lately (without giving away any Christmas secrets of course!)

Christmas Cards are mailed out. I challenged myself with using non-traditional printed cardstock backgrounds along with stickers, and "leftover" cuts from my stash. With a little ink and a touch of glitter, I was quite happy with how they turned out - every one unique!

Gifts for hubby's co-workers. Peanut brittle stashed in a vinyl container embellished with vinyl cuts, a little tissue and a bow. I used different colors of containers and ribbon along with several different fonts to individualize each one.

Added a vinyl cut Merry Christmas greeting to this charger plate and it was ready to fill with Christmas cookies to share with friends.

We are eagerly awaiting DD#2's arrival home from college and a visit from DD#1 and hubby from NC. Been way too long since everyone has been under one roof!

Christmas Blessings to all!

Christmas!

Just like many of you, I'm in the midst of Christmas preparations. We've gotten our very first "artificial" tree this year (but I just call it "fake" LOL). I'm adjusting . . . missing that fresh pine scent!


Spent yesterday mixing up and baking cookies. So far, Walnut Balls, Datenut Pinwheels, Peanutbutter Cup Cookies and Chocolate Crinkles. Haven't done a bunch of cookies for several years - I'd forgotten how much I enjoy baking!
