My First Bind-It-All Project

Things are going pretty smoothly here in regards to wedding prep - but time is passing quickly, nine days and counting!
We've finished up several projects and dreamed up a few more! :)
I've been working on designing the guestbook for the wedding, but thought I'd better try out my Bind-It-All on a not quite so important project first. Here's the mini-journal I made.

I recycled some of the unused wedding invites for the pages, printed a photo on one to create the front cover, inked around the edges, and layered a transparency on top to protect the photo a bit. Then I added a few rub-on flourishes. DD is using it to record gifts she's been receiving pre-wedding.

We're currently working on the guestbook, centerpieces, flower basket, pew bows, and bridesmaid gifts. All are coming along quite well!!

I'll be updating again when I get a chance. . .

Wedding Favors

This is how the favors for the wedding guests turned out.

DD gathered the labeled kisses in a tulle square and tied on a little "print & cut" tag that reads "Thanks for sharing our Special Day"

The share is the basic shape of the tag in several sizes. Design and insert your own jpg and do a print and cut for your own personalized tags! You could use this cut as a journaling box also!

Here's a photo of DD's rehearsal bouquet made from the ribbons & bows from her shower gifts. A crafty friend at the shower put it together for her. It turned out lovely.

Coming Soon . . .
Our next project is centerpieces for the tables (have gathered most of the supplies we think we will need) and the guestbook for the wedding that I'm planning to cut with my CR and bind with my Bind-It-All.

16th Birthday

The end of May is a busy time in our family. Within our extended families (25 people) we have 5 birthdays in the last seven days of the month, including hubby and my dad. This year one of those celebrations also included my niece's sixteenth birthday. Besides just being a great excuse for a party, turning 16 in Indiana means that in just one month and one day you can obtain your DRIVERS LICENSE! Needless to say the 16th birthday begins an exciting/anxious countdown for teens and parents. Here's the card I designed to in honor of this occasion.

Candy Kiss Labels

We're moving at full speed here on wedding preparations. DD's a chocoholic so she wanted favors for the guests to convey that. She chose three flavors of chocolate kisses that we will tie into a little tulle bag. These are the labels we came up with to personalize them.

Double Heart Label Design available at Cutters Market.

I designed all the jpg's in inkscape, then imported the image and did a print & cut with my robo on a full sheet label (I fit 96 circles to a sheet). DD's beginning to appreciate the versatility of my CR now too! Today's share is the double heart label.

PS - Have you visited Cutter's Market lately?? A major update has just taken place - now when you browse files you can see multiple images in each design category!! I love it - what do you think?
