Boo & Eek

Halloween is fast approaching.
I like to focus on the Fun/Spooky side of things and stay away from the Evil/Scary stuff. Some of the trick-or-treaters that come to our door are downright frightening! Lucky for me I had girls who were happy to be pretty princesses and ballerinas! LOL
Although, I remember one year I did have a Bride of Frankenstein and a Dracula . . .

Besides trick or treating a favorite activity of ours has always been carving jack-o-lanterns. Since we grew our own pumpkins, most years we usually carved at least 4 – one for each member of the family. Pulling out the pumpkin “guts” was always a messy thrill. Then was the task of deciding on the perfect face design and getting it carved. To finish off the evening I would bake up a batch of Pumpkin Cookies to fill the house with a sweet, spicy smells of autumn. Then we’d stick a candle in the pumpkins, turn off the lights, and enjoy our short-lived Halloween guests.

Hope Boo & Eek can help you with your holiday craft projects. And don’t forget to scrap your family’s favorite traditions!

File now available at Cutters Market.

All dressed up and ready to spook.
