S'mores Day!

Wow – did you know that in the U.S. August 10, 2007 is National S’mores Day?
I remember my first experience with the gooey treat – a Girl Scout camp-out; we really pigged-out and were up all night from the sugar/chocolate high! Imagine 10 sugar-crazed girls giggling through the night. I think our leaders probably limited our intake after that experience! LOL

File now available at Cutters Market.

The recipe is very simple - all you need is graham crackers, roasted marshmallows and chocolate bars. After tasting one it is easy to see how they got their name! If you’d like to know more, check out this site.
Have a great weekend!

*Sweet as can be

  1. Cute, Cute and Cute!
    Thank you it's..........
    TOO CUTE!!!!!

  2. Last summer we went to Africa on missions and took all the fixin's for s'mores. The children there had never had anything like that. They don't even have graham crackers there! It was definately a hit. Thanks for the file.

  3. Your timing on this one couldn't be better! I have a picture of my son at a boy scout mtg toasting marshmallows and I've been on the look out for something just like this :)

  4. I just knew everyone loved s'mores!

What a great idea to take them on your mission trip - So easy, yet such a yummy treat!

Tammy - My file started in a totally different direction today LOL, glad it worked out this way for you!

  5. Vickie,
As always, thanks for the super cute file. It reminds me of many of our camping trips when my daughter was younger. One time our whole extended family went camping--about 14 of us. Somehow we forgot to bring the ingredients for S'mores, so we tried to improvise and stuck Moon Pies on a stick over the campfire. Not quite the same!! lol
    Thsnks again, Leslie

  6. LOL - Leslie
    Desperate times - desperate measures!

And I thought s'mores were messy - bet those Moon Pies were . . . interesting!

  7. I love it! Thank you thank you thank you!We have a lakehouse and just about everyweek we roast Smores! YUUMMMM! Thanks for sharing your talent!
