This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Moving Day!

Today’s the day – we’re packing up and moving the girls back to college this afternoon. It is nice that they chose to attend the same school, only one moving day! I know they can’t wait to get back down there to see their friends and get their new dorm rooms arranged and decorated. After they are gone it is always a bit sad to walk past their bedroom doors and not see “stuff” strewn all over the floor. LOL

Hope you enjoy the file. The pieces can be arranged any way you desire.

File available at Cutters Market.

I wish we could use a moving dolly – the girls both will be on the third floor – they’ve got LOTS of boxes – and there is no elevator. DH & I are thankful they have many young strong friends willing to help!!

Thoughts for the day:
*Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it. ~ Ferris Bueller
*A professor is one who talks in someone else's sleep. ~ W.H. Auden

Thank you for the kind comments. It is always nice to know you can use these files. - Once things settle a bit I'll try to be better about responding personally!

  1. Oh this file can be used for so many things.
Be thankful for having strong independent young women.
    Thank you for the file.
    Be safe and happy return!

  2. Vickie,
Thank you for the file. I am going to hold it in hopes to have our own moving day sometime in the next year. We've been looking for another with a backyard for our kids to romp in. Right now they are toddlers and when they hit a wiffle ball it goes over the fence we have that small of a yard. Scary part is do you try to sell your house without one to move to or do you find the perfect house and hope to keep it with an offer contingent on selling yours in the sloooooooooow market. Aye aye...
    Have a great weekend.

  3. Dear Vickie,
I love, love, LOVE this file, and I have several possible uses for it. I know that feeling of taking a daughter off to college too. Best wishes to your girls for a successful school year!

  4. Nance - Independent young women is right - got their stuff unloaded and they couldn't wait for us to get out of there!! LOL

Shae - Hope your moving day comes soon. We've been blessed - both times we were ready to sell we sold quickly - the second time in less than a week! (but that makes you wonder if you were under priced and what you paid the realtor for!!)

Leslie - Thanks so much. A child-free house = freedom, but too much quiet!

Thanks for stopping by!!
